Pure Evil

There's no other description for Nemesis. I have to cling to the proverb that says "I have plans to prosper you; not to harm you," but Lawd, Lawd, it is hard and she is trying every last nerve. Ignorant to the max. Petty. Mean. EVIL! And this from a trustee of the chuch; in the house of prayer every chance she gets. Give me a break!

So what brings on this latest tirade? I've complained since the beginning of time that I am untrained, yada yada, that certain processes are not shared, etc. Well, we received training on completing leave request packets months ago and you know that I have never, ever, ever done one. So yesterday, I'm presented with a request for a leave package. I was supposed to be on the register. Called that heifer twice. SHE is on the register! When she finally comes back to the office, she proceeds to clean off her desk, lock everything up, and walks out. No "do you have it under control," "Need any help," no nothing. I couldn't believe it. Neither could the ass't. manager (the one who receives all the grief) nor the employee. Don't get me wrong...I should be able to do it with ease...but IF you've never done it, wouldn't you expect some guidance? Talking about pissed! x-(

And still am. So, the mentor is called on her time off to get guidance. Not fair to her at all but I am ever so grateful for her assistance. There's a crown waiting for her. I certainly hope that I completed it correctly and you know that I'm making notes. A pox on that heifer's house!

Do you realize how much energy it takes to be bitter or hold a grudge? We only have a certain amount of energy for each day. If we use it for the wrong purposes, focused on the negative, dwelling on who hurt us, we’re not going to have the energy we need for the right purposes. We’re not going to make the best decisions. We’re not going to be as creative. We’re not only doing ourselves a disservice, but we’re doing our family and our friends a disservice.

Remember, you can’t control what people do or say. You can only control yourself. If you’re allowing others to upset you, then you are giving away your power. The Scripture says, “Don’t let the sun go down on your anger.” The reason many people have no joy or enthusiasm is because they go to bed every night with anger and unforgiveness. When you go to bed like that, with a cluttered mind, focused on the negative, you wake up with the same negative emotions. Don’t let anger and unforgiveness block God’s blessing in your life. Choose to let those things go so you can live in the peace, joy, and power the Lord has for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I am releasing every negative thing that has happened to me. I’m forgiving every person who has hurt me. I’m forgiving myself for mistakes I’ve made and releasing every disappointment so that I can live in Your peace and victory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.


I'm off to work in the yard before the rains return. AGAIN! Seems like it has rained every day, or just about every day, for the past two weeks. Maybe I can erase visions of decapitation that keep appearing in my mind. Release those negative things. Be Blessed.
