Yard work was sideline today because of the start of a nasty cold, which has Sistah Girl feeling poorly. Working on it though. Using all the medication available and will do the Wally World run early in the a.m., for more supplies.
In the meantime, I looked out the window and this beautiful horse is trotting down my street. His rider wore one of those Buffalo Soldier's hats.
I swanee, I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing people ride horses on a public street. The closest experience I had to something like that was in a parade or seeing a member of the U.S. Park Service mounted police around the D.C. monuments or in Rock Creek Park.
It is, indeed, a nice day for a ride.
