I don't know about you, boys and girls, but when I was a youngster, Tennessee State was the place to go. Especially if you ran track. Coach Bolden was able to get quite a few of his youngsters scholarships. So now I wonder if he was an alum? Anyway, my girlfriend, Brenda, was one of the fortunate ones. I wanted to go, too, but just couldn't work up the speed (or interest) to make those laps.
The Tennessean carried an in-depth story about the state of affairs there. Thought you'd like to brush up on what's happening. TSU Make sure that all your friends, acquaintances, etc., know the story. Our HBUC's must survive!
